Can drawings and cost data go to an external service?
Manufacturers often cannot send drawings, costs or customer data to external AI services. Running everything internally, on the other hand, needs servers, models and operators. Start by deciding which data stays where, and which AI features may be used under which conditions.
Deployment options
- Your servers: The business platform (data, screens, permissions and workflows) is installed in your data center or a designated facility. The installer verifies package integrity, initializes an empty database and rolls back to the previous version on failure.
- Dedicated cloud: A single-tenant deployment inside your own cloud account.
- Giz cloud: For fast demonstrations and early operation.
Conditions for AI features
AI features are switched on and off in settings. When external model APIs are used, you decide and restrict which data each workflow may send. Running models entirely inside your network (internal model servers or a fully air-gapped setup) is designed separately after reviewing the workload, hardware and operating conditions. It is not part of the standard installer today.
