Connect files, document descriptions and knowledge articles with revision history. Separate public material, internal knowledge and client-confidential records. Apply retention periods and documented holds to governed content references.
Design useful evidence
Treat source links, document versions and answer evidence together. Evaluate retrieval against permissions, freshness and representative questions. Specify whether an integration needs document citations or precise page and paragraph references.
Validate regulatory requirements explicitly
An application retention policy is different from storage-level WORM. Regulated retention requires verification of storage, backups, administrative privileges and every deletion path.
